Schemes -> Drivers Training Programme for BPL Girls/Women


Haryana Govt. has introduced a new Scheme namely "Drivers Training Programme for BPL Girls/Women" with the following objectives and eligibility criteria:-

ELIGIBILITY
1. To encourage BPL girls/women in the field of LMV driving skills.
2. To make them economically independent and self reliant in the field of transport.
3. Developing right attitude for safe driving & road safety.
4. To enable them to impart safer driving skill and do reduce accidents on roads and make them more efficient and self reliant.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

The minimum requirements for the trainees to undergo Light Motor Vehicle Driving training are given as below:-

Age 18-45 years (date of birth proof)
Physical Condition Good Vision and not having colour blindness
Educational qualification 12 th pass
Learner License Each trainee should have learner license
Domicile Permanent Resident of Haryana

TARGET GROUP:-

Only BPL Girls/Women are eligible.


ACHIEVEMENTS:-

84 BPL Girls/Women have been given Drivers Training and Self Defence Training upto date through M/s. Ashok Leyland Drivers Training Institute, Kaithal, M/s Institute of Traffic Research, Bahadurgarh and M/s Institute of Traffic Research, Rohtak.
